Review:
MC transmigrates into a cultivation world. He has an immortal body but no other cheats. The story starts when he’s already close to 100 years old, which I liked, and his talent is bad, so it takes him a while to cultivate. A little bit cliché, but it works.
MC doesn’t fight, doesn’t explore, doesn’t take disciples, and doesn’t get involved in anything at all. He’s still strong, mostly because he hides his true level and has a few normal treasures, but he never shows off. He literally just hides. He stays on his island, avoids attention, and watches the world change from a distance. One slightly annoying part is how people keep noticing he’s not aging. He always has to come up with excuses or fake something to explain it, which gets a bit tiring, but it fits the story and doesn’t break immersion.
Chapters are long, so there’s a lot to dig into. But it’s super satisfying. No drama, no nonsense. Only downside is that there are only about 200 chapters out right now, which sucks. Highly recommend. This is exactly my kind of novel.
